CENTRAL ILLINOIS DEATHS - MRS. McCAIN
Funeral services for Mrs. Marquerite McCain, 65, of 700 E. Miller will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday in the Beck Memorial Home. The Rev. Raye Ragan will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at LeRoy. Friends may call at the memorial home between 7 & 9 PM Monday.
Mrs. McCain died at 9:40 p.m. Friday at Mennonite Hospital. She had been ill about a week. She was born November 12, 1897, at Downs, a daughter of Fred and Melissa Oswalt Wilcox. She was married to Halcolm McCain on November 24, 1915 at Bloomington.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Raney, 1102 Belt, Normal, and Mrs. Willard Stratton, Pontiac; two sons, Robert, 808 Snyder Drive, and Homer., R.R.2; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. McCain was a member of Wesley Methodist Church.
