William Henry was the son of Jesse Wilson and Mary Jane Carr. He married Sarah Lucinda Pyle on December 28, 1886 in Grant Co., Indiana.

William Henry Wilson was born December 4, 1862 in Howard County, Indiana, and died February 14, 1921, in Swayzee, Indiana, aged 58 years, 2 months and 10 days. On the 28th of December 1886, he was united in marriage to Sarah Pyle, who preceded him in death on Dec. 30, 1918. In 1916 he united with the Methodist Protestant church near VanBuren.

For the last two years he had been in failing health, culminating in a severe sickness of four weeks, and eventually bringing him to his death.

He leaves behind to mourn his loss his aged mother and five children, Luther H., Orville Zed, Von, Bessie Olive and Hazel Llossie Lawson; also one sister, Tillie Cummmings, one half brother, David Wimmer, and three grandchildren.

The funeral was held at the Church of Christ with Rev. Thomas Davies of the M. E. Church officiating. Burial was in the Knox Chapel Cemetery.

We turn to Him who knows the darkness, the difficulty, the solitude and the perplexity that cross our path, and through our imperfections we seek for His presence, his comfort and healing balm.
