GRATIA P. RANDALL
Mrs. Gratia Peck Randall, 92, of South Shaftsbury, died Oct. 21 in Glastonbury, Conn., where she was living near her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Arlene Randall Scott, formerly of South Shaftsbury.
Mrs. Randall was born in Camden Valley on Dec 4, 1884, the daughter of Charlotte Oliver and George T. Peck. She was the widow of Farand B. Randall and mother of the late George Randall. The Randalls lived for many years in the Shaftsbury area, where Mr. Randall was town clerk, succeeded by Mrs. Randall in 1947. She served that post until the early 1950s.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ernest Downing of South Shaftsbury; a step grandson, Walter Beech Randall of Bennington; a niece, Miss Louise Peck of Shushan, N.Y.; a nephew, Robert Peck of Long Island; and several cousins.
A private memorial service for members of the family will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 3 pm. in the Methodist Church, South Shaftsbury, where Mrs. Randall was a member.
