Born in Bethany, Missouri to Adnah H. and Viola (Bunch) Frisby. Served in the Spanish-American War,enlisting at Laramie, Wyoming and served in the Phillipines. After returning he went back to Bethany and married Bessie Snyder on August 12, 1902. Served in France in the 315th Field Signal Battalion during World War I. During the rest of his life he served his state in the legislature and raised a family of 5 boys and 3 girls. 3 of his boys served in the military during World War II. One of the boys served as a civilian engineer with the Navy. The other son owned a welding service in Casper, Wyoming.
