John Lawson Cain, was born in Carter Oklahoma. He was a World WarII veteran. John retired from Western Union in 1983 as a Microwave Technician. John was a member of the Melton Amateur Radio Club and he loved fishing,playing his guitar and his family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pearl Louise Shiver Cain, his children, Ron and Peggy Cain of Canton,Ga, Tony and Nancy Gordon of Carter,OK,Randy and Leslie Cain of Plano,TX, Chris and Barb Chase of Columbus, MI, Dave and Liz Lyle of Holt, FL; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
