Irene (Campbell) Trawick, 84, of Hickory, North Carolina, died Wednesday, August 23, 2000.
Born in Dillon, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Wade Hampton Campbell and Eva (Jackson) Campbell.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Hickory. She served as a Youth Teacher and found joy in using her talent for baking for the sick and bereaved.
Graveside services were held Friday, August 25, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Hickory, North Carolina, officiated by Rev. D. William Leathers.
The family received friends from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Bass-Smith Funeral Home.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara T. Austin of Spartanburg, SC; one son, Mack M. Trawick, Denver, NC; four grandchildren, Kimberly A Austin, Jefferson T Austin, Christopher Austin, and James E Austin; one great grandchild, Bonnie Kate Austin.
Mrs. Trawick is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Trawick.
