LYMAN, Utah--Our kind and beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Wallace Edmund Alvey, died April 11, 1995 in Richfield, Utah.

He was born September 24, 1916 in Escalante, Utah,

a son of Arthur James and Emma Jane Davis Alvey. He grew up in Boulder, Utah. He married Mada Ellett Giles, October 23, 1939 in Bicknell, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, March 25, 1979. She died March 17, 1992. He and Mada made their home in Wayne County.

He is survived by three children, Stanley and Deena Alvey, of Hanksville; Anneta Alvey, of Lyman; Floyd and Lupe Alvey, of Moab; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Gayle and Maxine Alvey, of Aurora; Idonna Haws, of Boulder; Annetta and Owen Wooley, of Orem.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers, Uvada, Ruby, Cecil and Sterling.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 1995 at 1 p.m. in the Lyman LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Lyman, Friday morning from 11 to 12:30 prior to services.

Burial will be in the Bicknell Cemetery, under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
