She was born December 16, 1922 in Bicknell, Utah, daughter of John and Addie Bell Ellett Giles. Married Wallace E. Alvey October 23, 1939 in Bicknell; marriage solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple March 25, 1979.
Survived by husband, Lyman; children, Stanley and Dena Alvey, Hanksville; Anneta Alvey, Torrey, Floyd and Lupe Alvey, Moab; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. LaMar (Clara) Worthen, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mrs. Ray (Melva) Lindsay, Provo.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 21, in the Lyman LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing, Saturday 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Burial, Bicknell Cemetery under the direction of Springer-Turner Funeral Home.
