Leonard Calvin Brumbaugh was born in Summerfield, Kansas, December 2nd, 1914 and died January 10th, 1918, age three years, one month and eight days.
Little Leonard was an unusually attractive and lovable child, and was a favorite with all who knew him. He will be greatly missed in the home and community. He leaves to mourn his death his father and mother, one sister, four grandparents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins, also a host of loving friends and neighbors. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral was held at the Methodist church Sunday January 13, at 2 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. McGuire assisted by Dr. Gray. The songs selected by the parents were rendered by a quartette. Interment was in the city cemetery..
