BLANCHE BRUMBAUGH RITES AT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, SUMMERFIELD
Services for Mrs. Blanche E. Brumbaugh, 85, who died Aust 9, 1971, were held August 11 in the Summerfield United Presbyterian church.

She was born November 11, 1885, at Liberty, Neb., the daughter of John and Emma Hawkins Young. She grew to young womanhood in the Liberty area and in July of 1912 was married to Walter C. Brumbaugh. They lived in Summerfield, and became the parents of a daughter and a son, Margaret M. Brumbaugh Shea, and Leonard C. Brunbaugh. Leonard died at the age of four years in 1918 and Margaret died in 1940 at the age of 27. Her husband, Walter died in 1962.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter and son, her parents, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Clara Acton, Lincoln, Neb.; Mrs. Mildred Topp, Hickman, Neb.; Mrs. Nell Gore, Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Alvin Young, Omaha, Neb.

The Rev. Harold Jensen, officiated at the services. Music was furnished by Mrs. J. D. Cameron, Mrs. Robert Frazee and Mrs. Ivan Knowles.

Serving as pallbearers were Charles Usher, Lloyd Lantz, Joyce Winquist, Clarence Plunkett, Les Sejkora and Willard Frazee. Burial was in the family plot in the Summerfield cemetery.
