Mrs. Sherman Alexander died at her home ten miles South East of this City Tuesday evening. She had been ailing for the greater part of 2 years with a compilation of heart and kidney disease and her death was not unexpected.
Luvenna DeLong was born in Missouri in 1870. She was married to Sherman Alexander about twenty one years ago and to this union were born 14 children, eight of them surviving her.
Rev. Goins conducted funeral services in the Methodist Church here this Thursday, afternoon and interment was made in the Summerfield Cemetery. The husband and children have the sympathy of the community in their sorrow.
