Alfia Aragón, age 86, passed away in Albuquerque on August 21, 2000.
Alfia was born in Fort Sumner, NM and lived there for 42 years before moving to Albuquerque.

Alfia was preceded in death by her husband, Fermin Aragón in 1968 and a son, Manuel Aragón in 1977.
Alfia is survived by two daughters, Marti Renaud of Albuquerque and Heidi Morrisett of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are Arty J. Nichols, Yvette Nichols-Moran and Samantha Teachout, all of the home, a sister, Carmen García, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildrn and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled today at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyomning Blvd. NE, with Father Richard Olona, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Harrison, Roger Rizkalla, Randy Moran, Harold García, Jake Gallegos and Rocky Gallegos. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond García and Nick Aragón.
