Rosemary G. Altepeter, a resident of Albuquerque since 1983, passed away on Monday, October 19, 1998. Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Carl F. Altepeter. In addition, she is survived by son, Craig Altepeter and his wife, Lynn of Memphis, TN, two daughters, Karla Bressan and her husband, Rick of Albuquerque and Sherilyn Altepeter of Anaheim Hills, CA, and daughter-in-law, Cherly Defoe Altepeter of Arvada, CO. Rosemary was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Altepeter in 1984. Mrs. Altepeter is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Katie and Krissy Bressan, Tenelle Marshall, Jeff Caywood and his wife, Jennifer, Kari Caywood, great-granddaughters, Jessica and Jenna Caywood and her sisters, Marge Cheever and her husband, Tom of Sacramento, CA and Pauline Nichols and her husband, George of Ft. Wayne, IN. Mrs. Altepeter was born in Stockland, IL, to Thomas and Margaret O'Brien Langellier on August 29, 1922. Rosemary dedicated her life to her family, her friends, and her church. Rosemary was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, on Wednesday, October 21, 1998 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 22, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE, with Father Florian Renaud, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chet Ray, Dick Hicks, Bob Widgren, Frank Rebarchik, John Novick and Bob Gardner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contriubutions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1011 Yale NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
