DUDLEY – Delia Lenora (Dee) (nee Mitchell), entered Heaven, Saturday, February 28, 2004, following a lengthy illness. Dee was born March 30, 1934 in Greenwood, KS to Lewis N. and Margaret Turner Mitchell. She moved to Tulsa as an infant and remained in the Tulsa area throughout her life. She graduated from Tulsa Will Rogers High School in 1941. On September 27, 1941 she married Paul M. Dudley with whom she enjoyed more than 62 years of marriage. Dee was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her hobbies of fishing and painting. She won several awards for her beautiful china painting before giving it up due to failing health. Dee was a past member of the Tulsa Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church in Bixby. Dee was preceded in death by both her parents. She is survived by her husband, Paul Dudley of Bixby; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Mike Mendenhall of Tulsa; son, Terry M. Dudley of Lebanon, OR; 2 grandchildren, Robin Mendenhall of Tulsa and Todd Mendenhall USCG and wife, Jennifer of Mobile, AL. visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2004 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E. 91st St. S. A Rosary will be said Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 2, 2004, 10 a.m., St. Clements Catholic Church, 15501 S. Memorial, Bixby.
