Ernie Morgan Sr., 74, of Big Spring died Monday, Nov. 4, 1996, in a Fort Worth Hospital. Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park.

He was born Aug. 1, 1922, in College Station and had been a resident of Big Spring since 1962.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he had owned and operated Ernie's Fina for 28 years and was a member of the Berea Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Will Morgan of Pass Christian, Miss., and Ernie Morgan Jr. of Big Spring; a daughter, Claudia Poylniak, and a sister, Dorothy Henderson, both of Big Spring; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
