Clayton E. "Bud" Jackson,62,of rural East Peoria died Friday(Feb.8,1991) at his home.
Born June 24,1928, in Decatur to Arch L. and Stella S Crouch Jackson. He married Lois J. Quinn on May 19,1951, in Peoria. She survives along with three sons,Brian,Kelly and Matthew and three daughters, Debbie,Sandy and Connie. One brother Murel and three sisters Verla,Margaret and Francis and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters.
He was a truck driver at Caterpillar Inc. for 37 years,retiring in 1982. He also served in the U.S. Navy's Construction Battalion (Seabees)
(Even though Clayton's obit and headstone say he was born in 1928, he was actually born in 1930 and two years younger then his sister Alta who was born in 1928.)
