Soneva "Johannah" Johnson was born 30 Oct 1885 in Lee Township, Norman County, MN.

She was the daughter of John G. and Soneva Larsina Larson Rosland Johnson. She was the fourth of their five children.

Her siblings were: Bertha Margarethe 29 Oct 1877-31 Oct 1926 (Iver Johan Klabo Jacobson 11 Aug 1864-12 Jul 1940), Margrethe "Lovise" 9 Mar 1880-5 May 1898, Elizabeth Georgiana "Gena" 30 Mar 1883-7 Feb 1973 (Johan "Alfred" Kjelstrom 26 Oct 1872-9 Jan 1945), Alfred ca Oct 1895-27 Feb 1896 and an adopted brother, Alfred Olai 9 Aug 1897-10 Feb 1971 (Carmelete Marie Sampson 5 Jan 1900-25 Feb 1996).

According to the Bethania Lutheran Church ministerial record, Johannah was baptized in Norman County and confirmed at the Bethania Lutheran Church, Oct. 27, 1901.

She attended rural school about two miles from her home, Riverside #26 and parochial school for six weeks each spring and summer.

She passed away at the age of 21 on July 9, 1907 in Lee Township, most likely at her parents' home.
