MARION - H. Clyde Ammons, 34, died last night at the home of his sister, Mrs. Palmer D. Price. Mr. Ammons, a prominent young businessman of Marion, had been in ill health for several weeks. He was the son of W. Ammons and the late Mrs. Ammons of Marion.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, and the following brothers and sisters, Cpl. Arthur Ammons of Marfa, Texas, Pfc. Lanneau Ammons, overseas, Luther M. Ammons of Sparrows Point, Md., A. D. Ammons, Mrs. R. A. Stephenson, Mrs. Felder Clark and Mrs. P. D. Price, all of Marion.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Price home on Wilcox Avenue, by Dr. B. F. Allen, pastor of the Marion Baptist Church, at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
