Myrtle V. (Therit) Baer, 78, of York RD 10, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday at her home. She was the wife of Lloyd L. Baer, to whom she had been married 56 years.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery, York New Salem. Viewing will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Baer was born Jan. 1, 1916 in Westminster, Md. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ora E. (Leese) Therit.
She was employed at the Seven Valleys Garment Co., retiring in 1976 after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, York New Salem.
Mrs. Baer also is survived by a brother, Clair E. Therit of York; and a sister, Pauline V. Greenplate of Hanover.
Officiating at the service will be her interim pastor, the Rev. David J. Hoh.
