MRS. SOPHRONIA BARTON.
Lentner, Mo., July 11.—Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Sophronla Barton, widow of Judge John S. Barton, of the Oak Ridge vicinity. Mrs. Barton was ninety years old. She had been an invalid the last several years. She leaves the following children: the Rev. George F. Barton of Great Falls, Mont.; the Rev. E. C. Barton of Mason City, Nebr.; Mrs. Robert Carroll of Pawhurst, Okla.; Mrs. T. W. Noel of Lentner; J. W. Barton of near Lentner and Miss Eva Barton, who lived and cared for her mother at the old home place. The Rev. R. A. Jones of New London conducted the funeral services, assisted by the Rev. A. Volmer of Shelbina. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery by the side of her husband who died eight years ago.
