Mrs. Seaton was a homemaker and the widow of Charlie Seaton.
She attended Cedar Creek Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
Those close to her knew her as a loving mother and grandmother, and as a friend to many.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Paul and Helen Seaton, Silas and Minnie Florence Seaton, and Guydean and Judy Seaton, all of Greeneville; a son-in-law: Aubrey "Buddy" Brown of Greeneville; 10 grandchildren: Robin Seaton, Wendall Seaton, Teresa Shelton, Marie Davis, Sharon Hartman, Rhonda Long, Dale Brown, Zan Clark, Amy Hensley, and Brent Seaton, all of Greeneville; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Veldena Miller and Margie and Jake Malone, all of Greeneville; several other family members; and a number of friends.
She was a daughter of the late Melvin and Bell Darnell Wilhoit and was preceded in death by a son: Lewis Seaton; a daughter: Pauline Seaton Brown; a grandson: Terry Seaton; four brothers; and seven sisters.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home, Greeneville Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with interment in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Dwayne Pierce and the Rev. Max Sauls will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brent Seaton, Dale Brown, John Hartman, Wade Hartman, Robin Seaton, Jeremy Shelton, Jason Seaton, Brad Seaton, and Wendall Seaton.
Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons; her nephews; Ted, Denise, and Wayland Seaton, the nursing staff and employees at Life Care Center of Greeneville, and Dr. John Shaw.
