Carl E. Schmidt, 78, of Broken Bow died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Callaway District Hospital. Carl was born Dec. 23, 1932, in Anselmo to Alfred and Nellie (Turpening) Schmidt.
Carl married Wanda Parker.
Survivors are: wife; son, Randy of Broken Bow; daughters, Cheryl Adams and Shelly Thomas, both of Broken Bow; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Inurnment was in the Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, NE.
