Lee Alanson Boomer was born to his parents, Alanson G. Boomer & Elsie Bayer in Wisconsin. By 1930 the family had moved to Madera Co., CA. Lee grew up on a farm helping his family. He married "Shorty" Corrine Richards about 1939. There were two children, Alanson & Charlotte, by this union. Lee raised his family in Chowchilla, CA on a dairy farm. I remember being on the property & walking in the older section where his parents lived. I remember seeing hand made chairs & furniture. It was like walking back into the past. Shorty (an appropriate nickname) liked to cook & fed her family well. Lee worked long hard hours & finally sold the farm about 1976 or so. They both retired to Newman, CA. Lee is cremated & buried with her. When Lee passed away, he left his two children, 5 grand children & several great grand children to mourn his loss.
