Mrs. Beverly Small, 35, wife of Dr. Aaron P. Small of 2512 Wyoming Ave., died at 7 a.m. Sunday in a local hospital of cancer after a several months illness.
Mrs. Small resided in Billings for four and a half years, previously residing at Taos and Las Vegas, N.M., and at Denver. She was born May 22, 1924, in New York City, and
was married Jan. 25, 1948.
Mrs. Small enlisted in the Women's Army Corps during World War II and served in physical therapy wards at Halloran Army General Hospital, Staten Island, N.Y. She was a
member of Congregation Beth Aaron and the congregation's sisterhood and of the Eastern Montana College Faculty Women's Club.
Surviving are her husband, who is associate professor in the language and literature department at Eastern, and three children, Margo Ann, 9; Andrew Marc, 7; and Paul Keith, 5.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Settergren's Chapel with Rabbi Samuel Horowitz officiating. Burial will be in the Beth Aaron Cemetery.
