William B. Passey, 79, Salt Lake City died yesterday at 5:25 p.m. in a Salt Lake Hospital of leukemia. Mr. Passey was a retired manager of Passey Mercantile Company of Provo.

He was born 29 Feb. 1872 at Bear Lake, the son of William and Asenath Wilcox Passey. On 21 Sept. 1894 he married Victoria Johnson in Mesa, Arizona. The marriage was solomized in 1899 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. He was a High Priest in the LDS South 20th Ward.

Surviving are his widow, and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Gladys P. Andelin, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Naomi V. Nelson of Phoenix, Arizona; Herber L. Passey, Clearfield; John R. Passey, San Jose, California; Mrs. Zoa Kyle Harrop, Roy, Weber County; Mrs. Lyle Mae Allen, North Ogden; Mrs. Asenath P. McKinley and Mrs. Delightra K. Black, Salt Lake City; four brothers, Joseph A. Passey, Los Angeles, Calif., James, Fred, and Adam Passey, Mesa, Arizona; one sister, Mrs. Malinda Lisonbee, Mesa, Arizona and 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
