Mrs. Rebecca Ann Septer, 96, to be buried on Friday.

Mrs. Rebecca Ann Septer, aged 96, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Evans of Hubbard. Death was caused by infirmities of age.
A daughter of Erastus Harris, the deceased was born March 4, 1841 at Rockford, ILL. She came to Hubbard County in 1888. The past twenty years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Evans. Mrs. Septer was a member of the Advent Church.
Coming to the country as one of the earliest settlers, she had seen the wilderness developed into fine farms. During her long life she had made many friends all of whom mourn the passing of "Grandma Septer"
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Evans of Hubbard and Mrs. Effie Shaw of Huntersville; two sons, Fay Downer of Huntersville and Miles Downer of Staples. Ten children preceded their mother in death. There are twenty-seven grandchildren, seventy-four great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at teh Alliance Church at Hubbard, Rev. C.C. Brownell officiating. Burial will be in the Shell River Cemetery under the direction of Verle Frazey.
