Glenda Frazier (1939-2011)


POTTSBORO - Glenda Wright Frazier, age 72, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 27, 2011 following a fatal car accident.

Mrs. Frazier was born May 2, 1939 in Vernon, Texas the daughter of Monroe and Francis (Beazley) Wright. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1956. Glenda married the love of her life, A. J. Frazier May 29, 1956 in Greenville, Texas. She retired from Texas Instruments and MEMC with 47 years' service as an administrative assistant. Glenda enjoyed music and played several instruments. She loved the Lord and was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church. Glenda also loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Glenda leaves behind fond memories and will live on in our hearts forever.

Mrs. Frazier is survived by her beloved family, husband of 55 years, A. J. Frazier of Pottsboro, TX.; sons, Andy Frazier and wife, Melanie of Denison, TX. and Barney Frazier and wife, Belinda of Denison, TX.; brother, Gary Wright and wife, Glenda of Mechanicsburg, PA.; sisters, Patricia Oldham and husband, Carroll of Pittsburg, TX., and Laura Hooper and husband, Ron of McKinney, TX.; grandchildren, Sarah Fluitt, Amanda Knipling, Krystal Frazier, Bradley Frazier, Anderson Frazier III, Dillon Frazier and Jeffery Frazier, great- grandson, William Fluitt and step-mother, Sara Wright of McKinney, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 31, 2011 at Georgetown Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Hancock officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2011 at Brigham Cemetery. There is no visitation; funeral home will be open on Monday.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Frazier, Dillon Frazier, Anderson Frazier, Eric Knipling, Chris Fluitt and Ron Hooper. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeffery Frazier.
