Passed away calmly and peacefully Tuesday Morning of Heart Failure

Mrs. Annetta Shaffer, wife of George P. Shaffer, died suddenly yesterday at nine o'clock of heart failure, aged 63 years. Mrs. Shaffer had been sick for a week but this morning was much improved. The change in her condition came suddenly and she passed away calmly and peacefully She is survived by her husband and the following children: I L of Chicago, James F. of Albert Lea Minn. G.F. of Minneapolis Minn S.W. of Elizabeth N.J. Mrs W.P. Peck of Jeannette Pa. Mrs.C.M. Lamm of Williamsport and Mrs. J.W. Mader of this city

Mrs Shaffer was born in Rebersburg Center Co., but had lived most of her life in Lock Haven. She had been a member of the Lutheran church since childhood and was a member of St John Church this city.. She was an active of the W.R.C. and had been elected a delegate to represent that organization at the meeting in Gettysburg next week. She was an affectionate wife and a kind and loving mother and her place in the family circle will be sadly missed by those she leaves behind.
