Mrs. Mary A. Sufka
Cold Spring, Minn.-- Mrs. Mary A. Sufka, 83, formerly of Rice, Minn., died Thursday in St. Paul. She was born June 24, 1883, in Poland and married Peter Sufka in Rice, Oct. 21, 1906. The couple farmed in the Rice area all their life.
Mrs. Sufka is survived by the following children; Mrs. Leo (Josephine) Plachecki, Cold Spring; Henry, Sartell; Leo, Rice; Mrs. Andrew (Mary) Hovanes, Sauk Rapids; Joseph, St. Paul and Ted, St. Cloud. There are 38 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1949, one daughter and one son.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers of Immaculate Conception parish, Rice.
Funeral services are Monday at 10 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church with burial in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ross-Veeser Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids, after 7 p.m. Saturday.
