Portal, Ga. — Ms. Lettie M. Sexton, age 73, died early Saturday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. The Kentucky native lived in Bulloch County the past 34 years. She loved playing bingo.

Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Jane Curtis of Portal; three sons, Troy Boggs Jr. of Leesburg, FL, Roy Eugene Boggs and Billy R. Boggs, both of Portal; her mother, Thelma Adams of Portal; five sisters, Barbara Wheeler of Leesburg, FL, Christine Dempsey of Okahumpka, FL, Nina Horton of Ray City, FL, Mickey Bragg of Portal, and Judy Lindsey of Hahira; six brothers, Dave Adams and Don Adams, both of Leesburg, FL, Bobby Adams, Cecil Adams, and Eddie Adams, all of Portal; and Billy Adams of Tallahassee, FL; 12 grandchildren, Rebecca Jenkins, Tonya Boggs, Gene Boggs, B. J. Wheeler, Stacy Wheeler, Tina Boggs, Alicia Holloway, Nicholas Boggs, Kyle Boggs, Sam Muller, Sarah Muller, and Amanda Wagner; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ms. Sexton will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Jarriel officiating.

Burial will be in Portal City Cemetery.

Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
