MARION — Mrs. Monroe Alford of Marion died at her home in this city October 12, after a short attack of influenza. The funeral was conducted by her pastor, the Rev. J. W. Daniel, D.D., the same day, at Tabernacle Church, this county.
Mrs. Alford is survived by her husband, Monroe Alford, her father and mother, several sisters and brothers, and four small children.
Mrs. Alford was a sweet tempered Christian woman and the community has suffered a loss in her death.
