∼Wilhelm and Johanna Grosshans, along with their nine children, came to the Oakes, North Dakota area about 1900 from Sutton, Nebraska. They first lived on a farm a few miles northwest of Oakes and later moved to a farm south of Glover, in the north portion of Clement Township. Children; Robert, John Henry, Alice Olson, Theresa Nuss, Johanna, William, Christina, Albert and Mathilda Nuss.
Wilhelm died in 1905 and his wife, Johanna, died in 1907.
