Obituary: Funeral services will be held at the church of the Immaculate Conception at 9 o'clock Monday morning for Miss Emma J. Aman, 39, of 117 West Main Street, manager of the Ronald Hosiery Shop in the Arcade building, who died in a local hospital at 3:45 o'clock yesterday morning. Burial will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Miss Aman was born August 16, 1893 at St. Clara, Doddridge County, where her parents, Jacob Aman and Mary Droppleman Aman, were prominent. She came to Clarksburg in 1912 with the family and had lived here ever since. Her father died at the family home here about two years ago. Her mother died several years ago. Identified with religious activities, Miss Aman was a devout member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception here from the time she came to this city to reside. She was also a leader in the activities of Clarksburg Court, No. 334, Catholic Daughters of America. She was also active in Democratic politics and served frequently as an election officer. She enjoyed the friendship of a wide circle. Surviving members of the immediate family are three sisters, Mrs. Anthony M. Donahue, 115 West Main Street, Mrs. Charles Morrison of Middlefield, OH, and Mrs. Donald Hester of East Liverpool, OH; and two brothers, John Aman of Westernport, MD and Albert Aman of Clarksburg.
