Rev. Damian graduated from St. Benedict College and Seminary and served several different parishes. He retired in 1988 at Coffeyville, Kansas. He moved to Joplin, Mo. in 1988 and attended St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Rev. Damian died Monday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
