Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, of which he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Bertha Edgerton Allen; sons, W. Joe Allen of Ramseur, Thomas E. Allen of Asheboro, J. Mark Allen of Winston-Salem, Jeffrey B. Allen of Climax; daughters, Mrs. Judy A.
