Christian C. Geiter died at his home, No. 445 Manor street, on Sunday afternoon,
after a lingering illness, from a complication of diseases. He was seventy-
three years of age and was well known in the community. He was a veteran of the
late war and was a member of St. Luke's Reformed church. He was a grandfather
of young Ray Geiter, who accidentally hanged himself on Saturday. Besides his
wife the following children survive: Henry C., Winfield S., Charles C., of
Philadelphia; Maria, Emma, wife of Officer Rhoads; George W., Joshua and
Frederick. The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock,
with interment in Woodward Hill cemetery.
