Mrs. Emma B. Rhoads, widow of Wellington B. Rhoads, died on Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at her home, No. 503 North Mulberry street, of a complication of diseases, aged fifty-six years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian C. Geiter and was a resident of Lancaster all her life. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran church and also of Lady Franklin Council, Daughters of Liberty. These children survive: Charles C., Mrs. Ella Jacobs, Edward J., John H., all of this city, and Mrs. Mary Blessing, of York, Pa. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Benjamin Boas, Henry C., George, Joshua, Winfield, all of Lancaster, and Charles of Princeton. (The Lancaster Examiner - Dec 22, 1915)
