Survivors include two sons, Berry Puryear of Springdale; Robert Puryear of Hindsville; two daughters, Mrs. Velma Archer and Mrs. Nellie Morris, both of Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Morris of Vaughn, 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Church with Rev. Cecil Garrison and Rev. Clyde Johnson officiating. Burial in Burk Shed Cemetery.
