She retired from DuPont after 35 loyal years of service and was a member of Campbelltown American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Post 831. She was known for her witty sense of humor and vibrant zest for life, but most of all she loved her family with all her heart.
She is survived by a son, Michael A. Skutlin of Lebanon; two grandchildren, John M. Skutlin of Japan and Kathryn E. Skutlin of Lebanon; three sisters, Judith Flowers and husband John, Kathleen Seibert, Linda Weaber and husband Edward all of Palmyra; one brother, Gregory Snavely and wife Jill of Palmyra; two step sons, Richard Blauch, Jr. and wife Sue of Lebanon and David Blauch of Palmyra; four step grandchildren, Megan Blauch, Richard Everitt, and Kimberly Maurer of Lebanon and Brian Blauch of Palmyra. She was predeceased by a brother, Victor Snavely, Sr. and a brother in law, Lynn Seibert.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 31, at 11:00 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Daniel Travis officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Private burial will be held in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to , 3544 North Progress Avenue, #101, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
