Mrs. W.B. Timberlake of Jackson is Dead

Mrs. Josephine Gilmer Timberlake wife of William B. Timberlake and mother of Judge William G. Timberlake of Jackson; Charles D. Timberlake of Crawford, Miss., and Miss Mary Timberlake of Jackson, died Saturday afternoon at the colonial home after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Timberlake was born and reared near Crawford, Miss., and was representative of the pioneer families of that state. she and Capt. Timberlake were married 70 years ago. For a number of years they made their home in Memphis where Capt. Timberlake was a cotton buyer. A part of their life was spent in New Orleans.
Mrs. Timberlake was a member of the First Methodist church, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy and other bodies of a patriotic character.
