Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of Mary Farmer Stevens and the late Rev. Roy Stevens. She was employed as a cook at Honaker High School and was a member of the Honaker Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Peanut" Eaton.
Additional survivors: daughters; Jennifer Leigh Eaton of the home; son, David Reece Eaton of the home; sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Stapleton of Germany, Mrs. Donna Hart, Carolyn Stevens, and Rhonda Stevens of Lebanon; brothers, Harold W. Stevens of Newport News, Dewell Stevens and Darrell Stevens of Lebanon.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Larry Brooks and Claude Hale officiating. Burial followed in Russell Memorial Cemetery in Lebanon.
