John Alvin Wright, 79, R.R.3, Rushville, Ind., died Thursday, March 28, 1991, at 6:30 a.m., at his residence of natural causes.

Wright was born Jan. 14, 1912 to John Henry and Catherine Meyers Wright. He married Doris Miller in 1933, and was a member of the Main Street Christian Church in Rushville. He was a self-employed farmer.

Survivors include: his wife; one son, Don Wright, Rushville; three daughters, Janet Goforth, Shelbyville, Ind., Nan Mann, Shelbyville, Ind., Sally Bailey, Indianapolis; one brother, Robert Wright, Rushville; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m., at the Todd Funeral Home, Rushville, with the Rev. Kenneth Bates officiating.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.

Memorial contributions go to the American Heart Association.
