Funeral services for John Stone, age 83, of Vernal, will be held Friday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. at the Maeser Stake Center. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at the chapel.
Burial will be in the Maeser Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 11 and 124 and the Utah Army National Guard. Services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
