She was born on May 4, 1935 in Omaha, Neb., to Howard Sidney Raymond and Margaret Frances Wolf. She passed away in the Utah Valley Specialty Hospital in Provo after fighting a long health battle. She was a member of the Maeser 5th LDS Ward.
Jaci was one who loved to play the piano, especially in Primary. She loved the children. Even after her heart attack in 2003, she retaught herself to play again. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school. In her earlier years in Escondido, Calif., she was in the young women's as a leader. She always attended the girls camp. She was never late for morning flag; she was the one that was asleep under the flag pole. Her home was always filled with friends of her children; they loved to come to her home. She always made them feel welcome. She was an easy person to get to know and once you knew her you just loved to be around her.
Jaci and her husband retired, they loved to travel in their motor home, which is why they decided to make their home in Vernal. She loved the beauty of the mountains and the nature that would come out in the morning that was outside her windows. On a beautiful warm day you could find the two of them with their dogs out in the lake in their boat fishing, she loved to catch them but not eat them.
Jaci is survived by loving husband of 44 years, John Stone; sons, Raymond Davis of Alta Loma, Calif; David Stone of Murrieta, Calif.; and John Stone of Richland, Wa.; daughters, Teresa Romans of Murrieta, Calif.; and Amy Gentry of Superior, Wyo. She had 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by father, Howard Sidney Raymond; mother, Margaret Francis Wolf; sister, Jeri Anderson; brother, Howard Raymond; and son, Richard Howard Davis.
Her funeral services were on Jan. 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center in Maeser. She was laid to rest in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
Jaci was a very compassionate, loving generous, wife, mother and friend. She will be missed very dearly. "Love you the most"
