Mrs Maude M. Walker, 54, died Wednesday afternoon in her home, 2600, NW 50, of cancer. She was the wife of E. L. Walker, owner of Walker Plumbing Co.
Born Maude Ross, she was a member of a prominent El Reno family which came to Oklahoma City from Jacksboro, TX, during territorial days. She later returned to Jacksboro and moved here about 30 years ago. She and Walker were married in 1934. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Jacksboro.
Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Laura Lee and two sons, O. W. Clark and Dwayne Clark, all of the home address. Two sisters, Mrs Vida Saxon, 1417 NW 11, and Mrs Callie Nichols, Lubbock, TX also survive.
