Rincon Ð Mr. Curtis Watson Gay, 89, died Monday, April 4, 2005 at Hospice Savannah. The Vidalia, Georgia native was a WW II Army veteran, a truck driver and a member of Rincon First Christian Church. He was a 50 year member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and a 50 year member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Fisher Gay of Rincon; daughters, Mildred Monroe of Savannah; Pamela Allen (Shannon) Wallace of Woodstock; sons, Bobby O. (Vann) Gay of Swainsboro; George Watson (Brenda) Gay of Oklahoma City, OK; Dennis (Joyce) Stodghill of Monroe; Michael (Glenda) Stodghill of Hardeeville; Leslie Stodghill of Rincon; sisters, Virginia (Melvin) Mixon, Joann Bell and Carolyn Humphrey, all of Vidalia; brother, Emerson (Barbara) Gay of Jesup; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great -grandchildren. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wed nesday, April 6, 2005 in the funeral home chapel. Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens.
