Robert M. Scroggins
Robert Scroggins, age 80, of 3034 N. 25th St., Sheboygan, died Friday evening, June 8, 2001, at his home.
Robert was born on April 26, 1921, in Irene, S.D. to the late Sterling and Hannah (Fredericksen) Scroggins
His first wife, Leona (Maas) Born died Jan. 25, 1977. He later married Dorothy (Lee) Brown on Sept. 14, 1978, who survives him.
Robert was a manager of the appliance department of H.C. Prange Co. in Sheboygan for 33 years, retiring in 1983. He had served in the United States Army in 1946 as a Military Policeman with the 6th Division in Pusan, Korea.
He loved to travel and was an avid photographer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs.
Robert is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two step-children, Mary (Terry) Lyle of Fort Myers, Fla. and their five children and John (Frayne) Born of Middleton and their three children; eight step-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard (Shirley) of Manitowoc, Donald (Gloria-deceased) of Michigan, and Charles (Sharon) of Sheboygan Falls; a nephew, Clyde (Delores) Rhein, of Sheboygan; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; a brother, William (Audrey) of Sheboygan Falls, and Bonnie and Heidi his four legged friends.
Services for Robert will be held at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, on Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at 7 p.m. The Rev. Marcus Powers, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Special Note: Bob's first wife, Marie Bishop Scroggins was not recognized in his obituary. That first marriage was not a happy one. He was married 3 times.
