GRAVESIDE RITES FOR WILLIAM JONES
Graveside services for William Melvin Jones, 85, Onamia, Minnesota, will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 1 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Orval Roach officiating and arrangements by Nelson Chapel.
Mr. Jones, born November 19, 1883 in Bushnell, McDonough County, Illinois to Joseph Stephen Jones and Elizabeth Jane Thompson. He married Janie D. Ferguson on March 10, 1912 in New Market, Dallas Township, Taylor County, Iowa. The had two known children, Helen and Cora. He died Saturday, May 17, at Milaca, Minnesota. The body will be at Nelson chapel for viewing tonight and Tuesday until time of services.
Surviving are his wife, Janie and two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Jackson and Mrs. C. J. Henry, all of Onamia, Minnesota.
