SERVICES TODAY FOR ELLIOTT LADY
Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Fox will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church with Rev. A. Breeling officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Cora Jones was born August 12, 1876 in Missouri and came to Coburg when small with her parents. She was married to Louis Fox, December 19, 1897 and has lived in the Elliott Community ever since. She passed away at the Murphy Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Sunday afternoon at one o'clock after being there four weeks. She had been a patient sufferer for several years.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mabel Peck of Elliott, Mrs. Hazel Hoyt of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Viola Leighton of Griswold; one son, Clyde of Stennett; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Music at the services will be by Mrs. J. W. Mills and Mrs. Joe Thompson, accompanied by G. E. Justice. The floral committee is Mrs. Emery DeWitt, Mrs. Art Lage, and Mrs. Frank Murphy. Casket bearers will be, John Larson, Lester Shires, Delbert Peterson, Hilton Cowley, Vertice VanNordstrand, and Charles Welsch.

She died Sunday, March 28, 1954, at the Murphy Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, after being there four weeks. She had been
Cora Jones was born August 12, 1876, in Missouri to Joseph Stephen Jones and Elizabeth Jane Thompson. She moved to Coburg with her parents as a youngster. She was married there on December 19, 1897 to Louis Fox, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mable Peck of Elliott, Mrs. Hazel Hoyt of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Viola Leighton of Griswold. Son Clyde, near Stennett; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

When a small child she came with her parents to Coburg and was married there December 19, 1897, to Louis Fox They have resided in this community since that time. Mrs. Fox has been a patient invalid for a number of years. She died Sunday afternoon at Murphy Memorial Hospital where she had been four weeks She is survived by her husband and three daughters and one son, as follows: Mrs Mabel Peck, Elliott; Mrs. Viola Leighton, Griswold, Mrs. Hazel Hoyt , Council Bluffs, and Clyde For, Red Oak there are 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Cora Mae JONES, the daughter of Joseph Stephen and Elizabeth Jane THOMPSON Jones was born near Humeston Missouri on Aug. 12, 1876. The family moved to Coburg, Iowa . She married Louis Arthur Fox on Dec. 19, 1897 at Coburg. They moved to Elliott, where she spent the rest of her life. She died March 28, 1954.
