She was born August 23, 1906, in Elsinore, Utah, the oldest of a family of five. She was born to John Taylor and Ina Charlotte Bell Christofferson. She married Thomas Edwin Whittle on January 11, 1926, in Rigby. They ran the Burgoyne Café in Montpelier for 43 years. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by her husband of Montpelier; one daughter, Mrs. Waldo (Ruth Kay) Andersen of Montpelier; one sister, Mrs. Max (Alma) Warsany of Ashton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
